A la comunidad P’urhépecha y a las/los hermanas (os) con quien compartimos el camino ancestral.Les notificamos que debido a la pandemia del coronavirus COVID-19 y con la finalidad de disminuir el riesgo de propagación y siguiendo también las recomendaciones del Concejo de Kurhikuaeri K’uínchekua (CKK). El Colectivo Ireta P’urhépecha les hace de su conocimiento lo siguiente:
1. En el estado de Washington (USA), NO realizaremos la ceremonia de la renovación o encendido del Fuego Nuevo de manera pública este próximo febrero del año en curso (2021).
2. El Colectivo Ireta P’urhépecha por medio de esta publicación expresa sus consideraciones y mejores deseos de bienestar para todos de manera privada o familiar renovarán a Tata Fuego con sus propios medios y expresiones. Con la esperanza de reencontrarnos comunalmente en el próximo ciclo.
3. Queremos expresar nuestro agradecimiento a todas (os) las/los miembros de las diferentes comunidades p’urhepecha que nos acompañan año con año, nuestra gratitud también con otras comunidades indígenas o nativas, círculos de danza, grupos, colaboradores y público en general que nos brindan su apoyo para que esta importante ceremonia y celebración pueda ser posible. De manera muy en especial agradecemos a los que viajan de lugares tan lejanos como el estado de Oregon, California, entre otros. Una vez más por medio de esta publicación agradecerles infinitamente, como una manera de recordatorio decirles que es nuestra esperanza y con el permiso de juchari Kuerajperi nos permita para dar continuidad con las actividades el próximo ciclo y que siempre contaremos o requeriremos de su apoyo tan esencial.
Por lo arriba mencionado les recomendamos que en estas fechas (principios de Febrero) enciendas sus copaleros (as), pongan ofrenda en sus altares, en la medida de sus posibilidades, tiempos y formas enciendan sus hogueras, pidamos a los Seres Formadores (Tsiperpeticha) que reciban nuestras ofrendas y por medio el humo sagrado que se levantarán en estas hogueras alejen las enfermedades que están aquejando nuestra coexistencia, dirijamos nuestras plegarias para que alejen estos males, lejos, muy lejos donde no hagan más daño a nuestros semejantes, así como a los demás seres con los que compartimos nuestra existencia.¡Que así sea!

To the P’urhépecha community and to all those with whom we share the ancestral path.
We notify you that due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and in order to reduce the risk of spread and also following the recommendations of the Kurhikuaeri K’uínchekua Council (CKK). The Ireta P’urhépecha Collective informs you of the following:
1. In the state of Washington (USA), we will NOT carry out the ceremony of the renewal or lighting of the New Fire in public this coming February of the current year (2021).
2. The Ireta P’urhépecha Collective through this publication expresses its recommendations and best wishes for the well-being of all who in a private or family way, will renew Tata Fuego with their own means and expressions. We hope to meet again communally in the next cycle.
3. We want to express our gratitude to all the members of the different P’urhepecha communities that accompany us year after year, our gratitude also to other indigenous or native communities, dance circles, groups, collaborators, and the general public who give us their support so that this important ceremony and celebration can be possible. In a very special way we thank those who travel from as far as the state of Oregon, California, among others. Once again through this statement we would like to thank you infinitely, and remind you that it is our hope, and with the permission of juchari Kuerajperi, we will continue with the activities in the next cycle in which we will always welcome or require your essential support.
For the aforementioned we recommend that on these dates (early February) you light your copaleros (as), put an offering on your altars, to the extent of your possibilities, times and ways light the bonfire. We ask the Forming Beings (Tsiperpeticha) to receive our offerings and by means of the sacred smoke that will rise in these bonfires, remove the diseases that are afflicting our coexistence, let us direct our prayers so that they remove these evils, far, far away where they do not do more harm to our relatives, as well as to the other beings with whom we share our existence. So be it!
